Come join us for an evening of local musical artistry at Crescent Hill Acres! We will host a local songwriters' circle, showcasing the talents of local artists Hayden Mellon, Jared Parke, and Valley Gilhuly.
Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy performances in the picturesque setting of Crescent Hill Acres. Ample on-site parking is available. Beverages and light refreshments will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
Hayden Mellon
Hayden, a Sarnia local and an electrician by trade, has been writing and recording his own music for about 5 years now. He’s the perfect mix of singer-songwriter, folk, and soul that will be sure to captivate any audience with his powerful vocal.
Valley Gilhuly
Valley Gilhuly, raised in Sombra ON, a well rounded Singer/songwriter/performer in the Ontario region known for his work performing with The Down River Band, The Rolling Stones Tribute band, The Blooze Hounds, Acoustic Events, and Works as a Hired gun with other touring/gigging acts when the Opportunity’s rise.
Gilhuly’s Professional career has spanned over the last Decade Touring the Ontario highways while maintaining a blue collar job. The singer writes songs about Money, life, love and blues, telling story’s through the songs, he brings something real into the Blues/Country/rock music scenes. The Singers Influences follow the lines of Gord Downie, Randy Bachman, Van Morrison, Paul Mcartney, Jason Isbell, Willy Nelson, John Prine, and many more. A chance to see a raw stripped down performance from past albums and unreleased demo material, and a take some of the artist’s favourite songwriters work.
Jared Parke
Jared Parke, born and raised in Sarnia On, has upheld a love and appreciation for music since childhood. Known currently for being the vocalist and guitarist of Sarnia rock band Strange TImes, and acoustic trio RJ&B, he’s performed in countless groups since playing his first shows at 14. His background mainly lies in rock, but has touched on many aspects of blues, pop, progressive, and folk. He has a passion for songwriting, finding inspiration in artists such as Big Wreck, Pink Floyd, Dave Matthews, Glorious Sons, Vulfpeck, and more.
While most of his original material is created with the backing of whaling guitars and thunderous drums, Jared is excited to present softer, more personal renditions of his released tunes, as well as performing unreleased material.

When is the event?
The event is on Friday Aprill 11, 2025. The doors will open at 5:30 and the show will begin at 7:00pm.
Can I reserve my seats?
No the event is first come, first served - general admission.
What type of seating is available?
We will have general seating in front of the stage, Four large tables for groups of 4 to 8 people to share, and six standing cocktail tables.
Do we need to purchase tickets beforehand?
Yes, following purchase you will receive an email with a digital copy of your tickets in a PDF file. You can show these tickets at the door on your phone and we will scan them. You do not need to print them!

Where do we park?
There is plenty of parking behind the Crescent Hill barn.
Is the barn accessible?
Yes, there are automatic doors and an elevator up to the main area where the event will take place.
I can’t attend now, can I get a refund?
Unfortunately no, please feel free to pass them along to a friend. All tickets are non refundable.
Are there drinks available?
Yes, there is a full bar with acholic and non-alcoholic options. Drink service will also be available at the tables. Please enjoy responsibility.
What is the run time of the event?
The event will be over by 10:00pm.
Are camera’s and filming allowed?
Absolutely! But please no flash.
